EUROGLOB

EUROGLOB is a direct project of the centre of international research, CRISC, which was established at the initiative and with the support of the Romanian University of Sciences and Arts “Gheorghe Cristea”. Our editorial approach is based upon the architecture of a modern structure of university research, which is CRISC – The Centre of International Relations, Studies and Conferences. The creation of CRISC reflects the objective necessity of modernizing and adapting the Romanian higher education system to the European standards and exigencies by means of a scientific, analytical approach to the dynamics of international relations.

          Among the objectives of CRISC we highlight:

1. Elaborating scientific programmes on the fundamental issues of the development of international relations (economic, political-diplomatic and cultural-human), within the processes of European integration and globalization. The programmes will be finalized as studies and syntheses, from concepts to pragmatic approaches, concerning the impending 21st-century mutations throughout the geo-economic and strategic regions of the world: Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. The research programmes provide the scientific grounds for the education process within the Romanian University of Sciences and Arts “Gheorghe Cristea”.
2. Organizing symposiums, conferences, lectures, with a wide attendance at the national and international level, which are equally aimed at the representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, trading companies, scientific institutions and universities, mass-media, business and professional associations, as well as at the students in the final stages of their university studies.
3. Elaborating research programs and papers (studies, articles), as well as scientific publications together with similar institutions from Romania and from other countries.

          EUROGLOB was published annually in English but we intend to publish it twice a year starting with 2009. It has a large editorial board consisting of important personalities from Romania and other countries. Among them there are university professors, members of Romania's Academy, senior researchers. The contents of this review are mainly related to international economics, such as European integration, globalization, international trade, financial crises, global issues. Many articles deal with Romania's position and situation in the global economy and also within European Union. The articles must observe the ISI format as concerns abstract, key words, content, conclusions, footnotes, references, commentaries of scientific reviewers. Chief editor is dr. Petre Prisecaru, university professor and senior researcher in Romania's Academy. Euroglob is accredited scientifically by CNCSIS (National Council of Scientific Research from Romania), member of European Science Foundation since 2003.
